I can't read the match thread till I go home. Was the game last night good? I fell asleep waiting for us to appear on MOTD too, but saw one of Bale's goals on the BBC this morning and that was a confident strike. |

Reasons to be cheerful: We are 13 points above Arsenal We are 3rd in the table We are 13 points above Arsenal We are 7 points above Chelsea We are still in the FA Cup We are 13 points above Arsenal We are building a new stadium at WHL We kept all our best players We are 13 points above Arsenal Reasons to whinge: We didn't sign a striker (we tried) We didn't sign a winger (we tried) We loaned out players we might need (no excuses) We replaced Pavyluchenko with Saha (jury's out - maybe he'll score from a corner?) At the end of the day we should've just ignored the transfer window but that was never going to happen. Worryingly the bloke on MOTD said Pienaar going on loan was last minute agreement between Levy and Kenwright. Why are they so chummy? Are we going to go after Moyes when Harry leaves one way or another? Personally I think cheerful just wins! I shan't be slitting my wrists any time soon. Some of you need to be kept away from sharp objects though. |

Blackburn terminated nelsons contract so he is available at any time, guess just needs to pass a medical. Why loan out BassMONG and replace him with Nelson QPR done well with cisse and Zamora....better than Campbell and bothroyd that Warnock signed. Jol is nuts to have sold Bobby |

We looked great in first half, kranky was a joy to watch. Went to sleep in the second half and it just played out, Wigan got a lucky goal. If we tried we could have got 10. Wigan worst team I have seen in a long time. Ade, VDV and walker all got injured. Defoe injured before game. Bale was limping. |

First half could have been 10-0. Second half pretty poor. Wigan probably came out on top and deserved the goal. But mainly due to how much we had to change it in the second half. Plus Krankshit showed why he's never picked regularly - as awful second half as his first was brilliant. Modric was outstanding though |
