Assistant manager Kevin Bond revealed Redknapp, who is on trial for tax evasion, will select the team for the game, which kicks off at 1945 GMT. Redknapp denies cheating the public revenue and is due to be in court until Friday afternoon. But Bond says Redknapp's absence is having "very little" effect on preparations for the match. Redknapp has been in daily contact with Bond and first-team coach Joe Jordan about the game. More to follow.

Jan 26 2012, 10:45 AM bale kaboul and someone else came off training yesterday with issues Bale & Kaboul shouldn't be considered for this game anyway Dawson & Gallas / Bassong should be the CB pairing and pienaar, Rose , GDS, or even Kranky can play left midfield
