We ONLY scored from a corner!!!

I think this needs it's own thread.

Packed house at Southwark Crown Court for start of Harry Redknapp tax evasion trial. Follow BBC for updates through the day
We won the L the Feyenoord Jubileum Tournament trophy. Hurrah!
P.S. We are the fairest of them all - we have a trophy to prove it.
Oh..and we beat Chelsea AGAIN!

Redknapp and Mandaric have now taken their seats in the dock. Redknapp takes a swig from a large bottle of *water that he's brought with him.

*Probably rehydrating after drowning his sorrows last night.

Jamie Redknapp had arrived earlier to support his father. If he's asked to act as a character witness, Harry will be in trouble as no judge is going to be able to understand young Jamie's speech.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Potential jury members will be asked series of questions, including their football allegiances. No chance of any Pompey/Spurs fans selected
what about Arsenal?

Pav is not the answer at all. He doesn't do enough. I used to defend him, think he is a good player but not what we need anymore at all.

I just don't get how getting rid of HFR can be seen as a good thing. We are a stronger side now than at any point in years.

I didnt say it would, I offered that as a possibility. If he went to prison then somebody else MAY do a better job.

Yes they may, but on past evidence they almost certainly won't.

We have tried changing managers loads of times and it didn't work. We now have a little stability which see's us as high as we have ever been. Why rock the boat. I know HFR isn't liked by some but there is no denying we are a better side since he arrived

If found guilty, what is the biggest punishment he could receive? Realistically would then send a 62yr old gezzer with a dodgy ticker to jail for a few bob?

I agree Steve. Granted he isn't everyone's cup of tea but the facts speak for themselves.

We were languishing at the bottom of the table in Jan 09 so we have come a bloody long way since then.

He won't go to jail. Nothing will happen when he's found guilty. It's all a bit pointless.

Just might be nice to see what a positive manager could do with our very good side. They certainly wouldn't have taken Lennon and VDV off for two shit midfielders handing the 3 points to City who had the balls to put a striker on (who scored the winner).

We got rid of Terry Neill and got Keith Burkinshaw that worked. We got rid of Santini and got Jol that worked, we got rid of Ramos and got Redknapp and as you say that worked so how can you say it didnt work????? I am not saying it will improve us, I am just saying it could, you never know.
